We've just released the Scouts.Digital roadmap
We've just realeased the Scouts.Digital development road map for this year (and some things we are thinking about for next year)
In many discussions, we often get asked Just what are you doing?. Typically the answer is As little as possible! That As little as possible often equates to 3 or 4 major new functionality releases a year and several smaller functionality releases during the year
So, just in case you were wondering Just what we are doing, click on the Road Map link from the left hand menu once you have logged into Scouts.Digital (This may be under a 3 horizontal line icon if you view Scouts.Digital from a mobile device).
Each item on the road map contains a high level description of the new functionality as well as some concepts, definitions, development status' and challenges faced for each section.
If you would like to add something to the Development Road Map, simply click on the Send Us An Email button (Top right of the road map) and request it. BEWARE: We will probably ask you for a lot of information if you do this
Please understand that requesting some functionality does not automatically get it added to the road map. However, if your idea is a really good one or multiple people ask for the same functionality (and it makes sense to add it), the requested functionality will probably get added to the Road Map.
Please understand that this road map is set 12 to 18 months in the future, so doing something "Quickly" is not something we like to do as this often has unintended consequences down the road (The joys of an integrated system....) (You call them bugs, we call them undocumented features)
In the future, we'll release our development schedule towards the end of the year for the next year
If you are a Parent, a Scout or a Rover, unfortunately, you will not be
able to see this as this information is only available to Adult Leaders
If you want to be kept up to date with when we release new functionality (Major or small), simply click the big green button below........
